You are invited to participate in a special golf tournament, Tuesday August 12th, 2025, in support of Psychology and Trauma Support Services at Bar-Ilan University, one of the world’s academic and research jewels.
A limited field of special Friends of Bar-Ilan University will enjoy an early morning Executive Round at Eagles Nest Golf Club. Your participation will further the expansive number of Psych and Trauma Support Services provided by BIU’s teams of psychologists, social workers and doctors.
As a consequence of the devastating war against terror, students, faculty, their families–especially children—and veterans are facing unprecedented trauma. “Resilience” has emerged as a key concept in Israel post-October 7. The capacity to withstand or recover quickly from adversity may be instinctive for the fortunate few. For most experiencing trauma, however, resilience needs to be cultivated, nurtured, and reinforced. Thankfully, it is a teachable skill.
BIU’s experienced trauma teams are First Responders meeting and treating those affected by the conflict. These programs illustrate Bar-Ilan’s commitment to not only educating minds but strengthening spirits.
Bar-Ilan University welcomes students from every background and every country around the world. The university accepts all qualified students interested in pursuing academic degrees on undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate/Doctor levels in addition, to those pursuing transformative research.
